Hi! I’m glad you’re here. If you’re thinking about hiring me to write for you, then you’d probably like to know a little bit about me. I’ll try to keep it all relevant!

I’ve loved to read and write ever since I was a kid. I read everything I could get my hands on … I could sit down and devour a full-length novel in a day, if I wasn’t interrupted. Words have always intrigued me, in the sense that they have so much power. Even as an adult, reading is still just about my favorite thing to do when I have some time. I also love researching new information (boy, I really sound like a geek!) and finding ways to explain difficult concepts in simpler terms. In my day job, I’m a high school science teacher, so I do that sort of thing for a living!

I also love animals and nature. We live in the woods surrounded by wildlife - this is where I get my inspiration and my grounding when I need it. I’m a homebody by nature and love nothing more than curling up at home with some writing to do. Though I also enjoy sight-seeing and traveling with my family, too.
